I wrote this as a liturgical prayer that congregations and small groups could recite together so that they could most easily remember those who are in need. The responses are taken directly from scriptures about God's mercy.

All: We praise you for being rich and full of compassionate mercy! We praise you that you delight in showing mercy! We praise you that mercy triumphs over judgement!

Leader: For those who are injured, disabled, sick or dying or effected by a sudden emergency or natural disaster.

All: May they know the riches of your mercy.

Leader: For those who are suffering from depression, anxiety, and mental health disorders.

All: May they know the riches of your mercy.

Leader: For those who are oppressed, persecuted, and treated unjustly for their faith, race, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, history, or background.

All: Let mercy triumph over judgement.

Leader: For all of us who have fallen short of loving you and loving our neighbor as ourselves.

All: Let mercy triumph over judgement.

Leader: For leaders, politicians, executives, teachers, pastors, parents, and all those who have authority in our church, community, state, country, and world.

All: Blessed are the merciful for they will be shown mercy.

Leader: In view of your mercy, may we cheerfully offer our whole selves as an act of worship to you, Lord.

All: Blessed are the merciful for they will be shown mercy.
