ABOUT GREG
Greg Piken is a hopeful, compassionate, and creatively resourceful therapist (LMFT #149920) experienced in treating addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and ADHD. He loves to help people see the best in themselves, and discover a life that’s worth living.
Greg serves as a primary therapist at Seeking Integrity in Los Angeles, a clinic focused on short-term residential treatment programs for men healing from sexual addiction and intimacy disorders stemming from childhood, family, or religious trauma. His training and work as a therapist has largely centered around multiple types of addiction in both private practice and clinical settings. He believes that the recovery community is life-changing because it reflects what all people really need- God’s strength and forgiveness, a chosen family’s love and acceptance, and the encouragement to live a more meaningful life.
Prior to his counseling work, Greg served as a pastor for 17 years and feels honored when he can care for ministry leaders in crisis. As a gay Christian who wrestled through his own doubt and shame, he is especially proud to share his own story with other LGBTQ+ individuals who have struggled with self-acceptance and as an advocate for inclusion in the church.
